Switzerland Holiday Maps. 1:120,000. Kümmerly + Frey. These are excellent topographic maps that are ideal for planning trips in the four most popular regions of Switzerland. These maps use a detailed topographic map as a base map (reduced from the 1:100,000 series?) and add tourist sites such as castles, churches, and hiking information such as trails, huts, remote restaurants, etc. The maps have contours at 100-metre intervals enhanced by relief shading and an overprint highlighting footpaths, campsites, youth hostels, mountain huts, etc. Roads with bus lines are highlighted, indicating which routes can be reached by public transport. Unfortunately the maps show only the Swiss national grid co-ordinates. Map legend includes English.
