Nepal 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 Topographic Maps. 1:25,000 and 1:50,000. Nepal Survey. Coverage is now complete for Nepal, including the three sheets covering the Kangchenjunga area along the eastern Nepal/China border. The maps are in English and show tremendous detail. The two series are complementary and do not overlap. They use the same grid and numbering system with one exception of the Lumbini area in southern Nepal. Coverage of the Lumbini Zone uses a different grid and numbering system (no idea why). Northern Nepal is covered at 1:50,000 scale and southern Nepal is covered at 1:25,000 scale. We have prepackaged some sheets to cover the most popular areas. These are listed below. The coverage of each set is marked on the accompanying index map.
