The map, at 1:800,000, is a perfect scale and size for use in a car; not too big, but with enough detail to not leave you stranded on a back road somewhere. The first section of the atlas, 105 pages in length, is the general information section of the atlas, covering such topics as Finnish history, culture, politics and much more. The map section of the atlas, 182 pages long, covers Finland at 1:250,000 with numerous inset maps of cities at 1:40,000. The main maps are shaded relief maps with contour lines, administrative boundaries, very detailed road network, 15' latitude-longitude grid, etc. In Finnish only, atlas size is 26 c 36 cm.
