Colorado Raven Shaded Relief Map. 1:500,000. Raven Maps. Colorado extends from the Colorado Plateau through the massive Rocky Mountains and out to the Great Plains in the east. It also has 54 mountains which are at least 14,000'. Elevations are represented by color, and this, in combination with our relief shading technique, gives the map a 3-dimensional appearance.
