These atlases offer a current overview of the sedimentary basins of offshore Eastern Canada and include new seismic reflection and refraction data integrated with aeromagnetic surveys and conventional seismic and well data. The atlases define the regional structure, stratigraphy, and geochemistry of the sedimentary basins by using maps (generally 1:2,000,000 scale), plots, charts, and illustrations. The East Coast atlas contains 8 sheets on Quaternary Geology; 16 sheets on litho- and biostratigraphy; 6 sheets on structure; 4 sheets on isopachs; 4 sheets on paleogeography; 3 sheets on geochemistry; 3 sheets on geophysics; and 6 sheets on seafloor spreading. Map sheets measure 101 x 76 cm; spiral-bound volumes measure 50.5 x 76 cm. In French and English.
