There are several sample images included in the listings below. The photos are not the best and I assure you that the maps are much more colorful and attractive than the photos. The photos are included to show the shape and form of the map, not as a representation of the color.

relief maps of the mountainous regions of the USA. These maps, at the scale of 1:250,000, typically cover about 110 miles x
70 miles. The maps cover the western USA, west of Denver, plus the Appalachian Mountains from Maine to Alabama. These
maps use the USGS 1:250,000 topographic map as the base map. The maps are available as either unframed or framed in oak. The index map shows the available coverage.
We stock a large selection of international raised relief maps. In fact, we stock all that we can find. We are always on the lookout for raised relief maps during our map-buying trips overseas. The prices on the international raised relief maps may seem high, but nearly all of these maps are too large to be shipped to us by parcel post (airmail or surface mail) and the maps must be shipped by courier or air freight. This essentially doubles the cost of the map, even when we buy in bulk.
Also, some of these maps are too large to be shipped by UPS within the US and must
be shipped by truck.

South America Raised Relief Maps. These are raised relief maps manufactured by Nova Rico in Italy. Sadly, Nova Rico has stopped making these fine continental maps. We have only the Africa and South America maps left in stock; they will be no longer available once we are sold out.
These maps are available framed with a solid oak frame.
Raven Raised Relief Maps of the States. Hubbard. These raised relief maps use the Raven's striking imagery for their base map. Major roads and cultural features are shown, with elevation shading to highlight the mountains and plains. These are very attractive maps.
